How to Put Movies on Your PSP - 4 Simple Steps

If you own a PSP and is a movie buff and loves to watch movies every now and then, wherever, whenever, it is high time you learn how to put movie on your PSP. In this way, you can maximize your PSP's ability to display real multidimensional graphic and audio displays, which are relatively important to produce quality displays.

Here is how:

1. Create a new directory

Before installing your movies onto your PSP, it is best that you create a new directory for the specified target. In most cases, you will be required to create PSP folders for your images, games, and audio files.

Once you have formatted your Sony PSPs Memory Stick Duo, you will be able to create new folders for these files. However, if you wish to put movies on your PSP, it is best that you create a particular folder just for your MPEG-4 video files.

To do this, you must make that special folder from the main root directory known as MP_ROOT and not on the PSP directory. After which, create a folder with the name 100MNVO1 within the MP_ROOT.

If in case, your video files were not placed on MP_ROOT100MNVO1, the PSP will act as if that certain file is not located in the directory.

2. Get a converter

If you have downloaded a movie file that cannot be read by your PSP, it is best to acquire a reliable file converter. The idea is to convert files into .mp4 format.

3. Attach the device into the computer

After conversion and creation of special folders in your PSP, you can now transfer your files from your PC to your PSP.

Your PSP's MP-ROOT folder will be detected by your PC as removable disk. Once detected, you can easily transfer the files from your computer's video folder into your PSP's MP-ROOT folder.

4. Consider the aspect ratio

Keep in mind that your PSP will display the movie you have just installed in a different manner. That is why it is important to create files that are suitable for PSP viewing.

Hence, if you wish to maintain good video quality, it is best that you consider first the "aspect ratio" of your original video.

Given all that, you can now play your movie anytime, anywhere, with your highly remarkable Sony PSP. Indeed, with technology like this, the next generation of movie viewing will be technically superb and amazing.
