As if that was not enough, the upcoming writer from Colorado received critically acclaimed reviews for her first book, Taylini: A Family Saga. The fictional mafia book made waves over in Europe, which landed her a spot in the Italia Press! Her much awaited second book, Tracis Story was released in January 2006. For the last year, Ms. Ashton has been brought on board as Co-Writer at JVI Productions LLC. She is currently working with the Executive Director, Jerry VanDenHul on two screenplays. One in regards to racing, has piqued interest in the film industry. It is tied to the upcoming reality T.V. show, Racin For A Livin, due out later this year.

Ms. Ashton who currently has three personal screenplays in the works stated that she, "Loves the challenge of multitasking more than one genre during her writing. It keeps her adrenaline running." Another question asked of her, was, Does she see herself pursuing her acting career? She said, Living in Colorado, there is not that much work for actors. Upon realizing that, I started to focus more on my writing, which has just been flowing from my fingers. My passion is my writing and I am glad that I am able to share that with other readers, who in one way or another can identify.

A new personal website is in the process of being completed, through the company she works for, JVI. It will include film details for her screenplay, Burned Bridges, and daily updates for the much awaited script, Dreamin being written at JVI. The new link will be posted upon completion.

Marguerite Ashton

Marguerite Ashton was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She attended George Washington High School and just finished a paralegal course. Marguerite will be attending Denver University next year to continue with her law studies and become an attorney. She just finished her screenplay, "Burned Bridges," and in hopes will catch a professional eye.. A screenplay, that she has been working on, in regards to racing, has piqued interest and was scooped up. Writing fiction books is one of her favorite things to do. Staying busy is what she enjoys. Acting has always been of interest to her as well. Last year she signed with Big Fish Talent located in Colorado. When she is not writing or acting, Marguerite dives into her favorite interests. They include, yoga, weights, volleyball and ballet. During her down time, she loves to watch a good baseball game or listen to classical and jazz music. All screenplays and novels are copyrighted and registered with WGA. Any misuse or copyrighting without owner's permission will be prosecuted.

Ms. Ashton was approached to write a screenplay by JVI Productions. As of a month ago, it was picked up by a producer and her and the executive director at JVI are pushing to get it completed.. During that same time, she was approached by the executive director at JVI, to write a second screenplay... Updates will be posted as they become available.
