I really do not care if Alito gets confirmed or not. I do not care if he is a Republican or Democrat and since I am a man and will never have an abortion I really do not care about Rowe or Wade. I do not believe it is note worthy enough to be on my TV and taking up my time. You see Alito is a Lawyer and in my opinion all Lawyers are the scum of the Earth whether they are in the public or private sector. In my opinion we cannot trust lawyers. Now then to throw an untrustworthy lawyer or judge into the political arena and a political event like the confirmation hearings only makes him beholden to the politicians and not the people as the politicians are for themselves not us, just like all the lawyers. I am sick of hearing of Stary Decisis as I cannot even spell it. Get this guy off my TV set and all the Senators who wish to try to impress me with their questions and get themselves on national television during these hearings. The entire system of government is corrupt; everyone knows it and all the photo ops and TV segments with politicians on the television will not change that. Anyone who would confirm or deny a judgeship solely based on an abortion ruling, which has already been decided is foolish, as we have an entire civilization to run here and that is far more important than the sound and fury of the past. We ought to vote the entire lot of you out of office. It is time to move on and get a vote on this gentleman now. Vote yes or vote no, but get off my TV set and stop wasting my time or I am going to put on my iPod and go for a walk to lose some weight. |
