Bill Clinton and Al Gore continue to undermine President Bush and the war on terror. Their motives are different but their tactics are similar. Clinton continues to try to cover up failures in national security and the economy. Gore is desperate for power and another shot at becoming president. Both need to attack the Bush Administration to improve their own image.

They try to convince Americans that things were great while they were in office and that in a short time Bush squandered it all. Nothing could be further from the truth. The economy began to tank while Clinton and Gore were in office. We were told that all was great. Stocks from companies that never made a profit and had no clear plan on how to make a profit were selling at over $100 a share. Americans continued to buy and continued to be told what a great job Clinton had done. For some reason logic no longer mattered. Just stick your hand out and it will be filled with gold. No plan and no pain but everything will be great. It was this kind of logic that seems to have caused some of the accounting frauds that have now been uncovered. It was acceptable to lose huge amounts of money with no turnaround in sight during the Clinton years. Then the stock market traders once again decided that profits were still the goal and so the massive losses in the badly run companies were covered up.

The economy is not the only place these shameless attacks against President Bush are occurring. Less than one year since the attack on America and Bush has been hammered with ridiculous accusations that he and his administration knew about the attack ahead of time. Any opportunity to second guess the President they jump on. Why you ask? The greatest breach in America's security came during the Clinton years. The Chinese stole critical secrets that put our country at risk from a tyrannical government that has stated that we are their enemy and they intend to defeat us. Al Qaida prospered and infiltrated our own country during these years of scandal and excess. These people have the nerve to say the Bush Administration was slow to act on terror. What did Clinton do when the World Trade Center was bombed the first time? What did they do when the USS Cole was bombed? Clinton appears to have taken out an insurance policy on his failure to fight terror. Clinton says he gave a plan to attack Bin Laden and Al Qaida to the Bush Administration. You can be sure Clinton never intended to carry it out. Just in case something bad does happen they can say, we had a plan and gave it to the Bush Administration. Something bad happened and guess what? Clinton claims he had a plan. "I tried to get him." If only he had more time. I guess 8 years wasn't enough.

What if Bush HAD declared war on terror before 9/11? You need to use your God given imagination on some of these things. Put yourself back before all this happened. What would the liberals and the media have done to George W. Bush if he had gone after those terrorists? For those who can't come up with the answer, I will tell you. Bush would have been a warmonger. He would have been paranoid over something that never happened. He would have been responsible for all suffering that would occur during the war. He would have been just getting even for his father not killing Saddam. See, it really isn't that hard to figure out when you just stop to think about it. Here's another thing to think about. What would Clinton or Gore have done if this had happened and they were at the helm? Do you really think that an all out war would have been waged? What is more likely to have happened? I will tell you. Lobbing a few missiles at a few caves in Afghanistan and calling the war a success. Making peace with the evil doers or just dragging their feet and saying we don't have enough evidence to do any more. Convince America that all is great again. Again, pretty easy if you are honest and think pre 9/11. I am not sure why the enemy would want to attack with Clinton or Gore in office. They were the ones who flourished during their watch.

The media is all too willing to help the attacks against Bush by using the stock market just like they have used the polls. To create a sense of momentum that always seems to be working against Republicans. The same media and liberal cronies continue to do everything to make the war on terror more difficult. They find minute problems and try to make major issues of them all. They have tried everything. It is truly shameful. Now they suggest we need evidence that Saddam Hussein is involved before we can go after Iraq. We don't need evidence. He was guilty before 9/11 and the Bush Doctrine only reinforces the need to destroy his regime. Terrorists and those who would harbor terrorists will be brought to justice. We don't need a link to 9/11. Unfortunately it took 9/11 for people to wake up to the feel good Clinton/Gore years. Nobody wants to harm us or nobody can hurt us on American soil were just more liberal lies. Bury our heads in the sand and it will go away. Lies still being told. Lies that only the ignorant still believe.
