Seeing Red - The Perfect Color Choice for Reading Glasses

Red is such a great color - exciting, splashy, exuding power. Red reading glasses are super cool.

Red reading glasses are easy to find as well. Just imagine all those times you go digging through your bag, in a drawer, on your nightstand looking for your reading glasses. A nice red pair is easy to spot.

Red reading glasses can compliment most every skin tone. You just need to be certain to choose the right shade of red readers. Here are some rules of thumb for choosing the right red reading glasses for you.

If you have fair skin with rosy undertones go with a cool red pair of reading glasses that has pink or blue undertones. If you have darker skin but still rosy undertones go with reading glasses in a deep blue or pink based red. You can also go with a true red with no definitive undertone. Whatever your choice, you should steer clear of orange based reds.

If your skin leans more toward yellow undertones go with a peach or orange based pair of red reading glasses. Your red choice should be very warm in tone. Stay away from cool reds with blue bases.

Olive skin tones look best in true reds or those with a slight brown tint. Definitely stay away from orange or pink based red reading glasses.

If you are totally confused and don't know what to go with when it comes to red reading glasses make it a brown based red. Brown is a neutral color and compliments any skin tone.

Red reading glasses can bring life to any face.
