One thing that's closest to us is a place called home where memories of anybody's life begins. It's a place where our heart belongs because all that we know of love and life starts there. Most of all because when you are home, you are with your family. They are special people regardless of where they stand and what they are because we are almost lost souls without them and we would have none to call our own if we had no family to rely on. They are also the people who are likely to stand by you till the tests of life ends. They are the first people to think of your welfare at any given time and circumstance. And despite any wrong that you do to them, they never keep those grudges for long for the simple reason that love and forgiveness seem to come a little easier because you are of the same blood. When achievements and successes crown you, they are proud of you and are the first to appreciate your efforts. They are the ones who gives you the sincerest compliments and if there's anything that does not go with you, they never hesitate to tell you the ugly truth. Parents and siblings, no matter how many years take us forward, will always be the unforgotten people. They would still think the world of you even when time plays its painful duty and keep us apart. In sickness, health or joyous occasions, they are the ones who stick by us. Undoubtedly, the most reliable people that God gifts us, they never mind to sacrifice a little bit for us whenever it's required. And we realize all these incredible values of having a family only when we are too late to be able to relive them again. You see, our years start with them around even if it meant little fights and arguments. Then there are those glittering moments like playing games, sitting around fire and sharing stories of schools, friends, crushes and mischiefs. Once you are done with high school, you go your separate ways with the elder ones slowly moving out to colleges, hostels, other towns and cities. And it goes one till you barely find an occasion when everyone's home again. Marriages happen and you are left with no time to catch up on each other. Even if you do, it's like an occasion when you are too busy to even sit and talk to your heart's content. It's just how life goes-the whole process of growing up and letting go, even though they are still very close to us, no matter the distance. It is the family bond that gets stronger. This bond that never fails you when the storms come calling. And it's one thing in life that we should value, one thing that we should be really grateful for- to be accepted just the way we are, to be loved no matter what, to be there for us through thick and thin. Among all the relationships that we are a part of, a family relation is the most beautiful because nothing else outdoes it. Love relationships turn to families. Friendships are family traces of love and care. The sense of belonging and the assurance that they are with us in sunshine and in rain makes a family the most extraordinary relation that we would ever know. It is also the most important because we place our dear ones above everything else. Our lives are an inseparable part of that family that first taught us about the world we would later on in life see. What makes life more precious is because of the love that we get from our families. Cherish the family bond that will never fail you and don't think twice to make any moment dear whenever you chance upon being with them again. |
