Gasoline Twenty-five Cents Per Gallon

Have you attempted to fill up your AUV lately? Have you noticed the prices; ouch. I talked with a gentleman in Starbucks today who worked for the railroad; he had a good paying Union Job with all the benefits. He drove a beautiful four-wheel drive Yukon with dual tanks. We were taking about "Four Bucks;" a joke, nickname for Starbucks, as he paid $3.50 for his Latte and I had one of those Frappachino foo foo drinks for $4.15.

He was explaining to me the unbelievable cost to fill up those two gas tanks. He paid $138.00 today to fill it up and said it will last him about a week and a half. We started talking about the prices around the rest of the planet in other countries, as they pay more in Canada and even more in Europe. In the UAE and Saudia Arabia fuel is cheap. In Venezuela it is only $ .25 per gallon. That's right only twenty-five cents per gallon.

Hey now you are talking just a few years ago, I remember complaining about $1.35 per gallon and now diesel fuel is more than gasoline if you can believe it and around $3.00 per gallon, more than double the $1.35 price that I was very upset paying a few years ago. At $ .25 cents a gallon, while I'll bet there would be a whole lot of happy campers out there, what do you think?
